Why the FL-USA 200™ What
makes it Unique?
Fiber is reliable and low cost. What was previously
limited to the commercial ISP service providers and
large telephone companies, can now be used to directly
benefit your company IT network. Immune from moisture
and electrical interference, fiber is today's choice
for reliable inter-r-networking. By providing the fiber
from copper conversion outside of the routing equipment
chassis, the heat associated with lasers if removed
from the router, not just reducing cost but improving
reliability of router's electronics. Using CWDM technology,
two distinct LAN network segments can be provisioned,
where only a single segment was in the past. Now you
can provide 100 MBPS full duplex using only a single
strand of fiber, rather than two strands. This allows
a level of resiliency that ensures maximum up time-
cost effective CWDM was not available for corporate
use in the past.
